The Auto Config Function should be completed after “discovering” the modules on your system. Auto configure establishes the directional flow of your system, the ethernet cable should be plugged into the most upstream module. Please note that a temporary pause to your system will happen so be cautious about when you choose to do this. Once complete auto config will have the topology of your system drawn, set sequential IP Addresses starting from the most upstream module, and all of the settings which have been configured previously will be accessible to the EasyRoll+ software (sensor placement, order of modules, and more).

Auto Config should be completed on every system before altering settings on modules further in EasyRoll+. Your system will not be completely known to the software unless Auto Config is run, and will lead blindspots for you and EasyRoll+.
