4.12.2.5 Collaborating using Microsoft Teams

It is possible to collaborate with MS Teams and EPC. This integration enables users to communicate seamlessly with their colleagues via both applications, streamlining communication and promoting collaboration within organizations.

Here’s what you can do using this feature:

• Tag your colleagues in EPC collaboration topics, which will automatically send a message to them via Teams including a link to the EPC object and its name.
• Reply to EPC collaboration messages directly in the Teams application, which will be posted in the collaboration topic, ensuring that all conversations remain synchronized and easily accessible.
  

Tagging your colleagues in an EPC collaboration post

1. Navigate to a collaboration post or create a new one.

2. You can search users to tag in the description box by using an at sign and typing their username (e.g. @username).

3. Click on the desired user.

4. When posted, a message will be sent to the user in Teams, which includes a link to the EPC object and its name.

Replying to collaboration posts from the MS Teams application

1. Access the message in Teams and reply in the chat.

2. Your reply will be posted in the collaboration topic.

*Alternatively, users can click on the link to be redirected to the EPC object in question and reply from the object directly.
