Amount of office hours per day: In this screen you can specify the office hours per day and based on that, the colour (and other attributes) of the opening hours screen is determined.
The amount of office hours can be determined based on spent or billable hours.
Modifying current hours through the multi-hour screen: In this screen you can assign hours through the multi-hour screen.
Default description: Here you can modify the default hour description.
Default activities: This menu is only applicable when using the stopwatch widget. Here you can specify which types of clocked hours should be used in certain performed tasks.
Stopwatch: Here you can make changes to the functionality of the stopwatch, for example, whether the stopwatch should be visible, or whether the stopwatch should be opened by default, etc.
The project is mandatory when clocking hours: Here you can specify whether a project should always be mandatory when clocking hours. It is highly recommended to enable this by default.
Default hourly rate per project: Here you can set a default hourly rate for your projects. This will be automatically applied for newly created projects after enabling this setting.
- Activity type*: Here you can create hour types and/ or modify them. Hour types can be selected when entering clocked hours and can also be shown in the invoice layout.
- Hour description may be empty*: This setting allows you to leave the description field empty, it is highly recommended to disable this option.
- Hourly rate*: Here you can set an hourly rate per employee per timespan.
Travel expenses per distance
Here you can set travel expenses per distance (miles). When writing clocked hours you can enable the Travel Expenses field and insert the distance amount for billing.
This setting specifies how the hour layout is displayed in the Dashboard. If you specify “8” for example, the hour layout will not turn “green” until 8 hours.
Default description
Here you can set a default description which the system will apply when using hour input. This description can naturally also be expanded manually or removed per hour field.
Default clocking
This settings is only applicable when using the stopwatch widget. When enabling this setting, the stopwatch widget will automatically clock certain actions, such as completing a task or sending an Email.
Amending certain hours from the multiple hours screen
Enabling this setting allows you to modify hours from the multiple hours screen. All registered fields will remain the same. This will, however, be applied as long as more than fifteen hour fields have been entered per day through the multiple hours screen.
