Templates in BaseNet’s Online CRM

Templates are used in different components in BaseNet. Templates make composing Emails more efficient. This chapter touches upon the development and amendment of templates used for composing Emails, creating letters or faxes.

A template for composing an Email consists of several template codes. These template codes refer to the fields in your system, such as for example the contact to whom the Email is linked. When composing an Email the template loads up aspects of those fields from BaseNet’s system and places them in the fields in question, through template codes.

!When composing an Email make sure to link a project and/ or contact. Only then will the applicable template fields be automatically filled in.
