Weather forecasts, including advice on available light, will be used by the Competition Committee to assist in decision making. If adverse weather and/or surf conditions develop, more regular bulletins and information must be sought and obtained. Subject to the size of the competition, and its specific risk assessment, weather monitoring should commence approximately one week prior to the start of the competition.
If the competition extends beyond one day, the Competition Committee should review weather and surf forecasts at least each morning and evening.
