Dependant on the size of the event, The Peer Support Coordinator is responsible for the contact and provision of initial counselling support.
If this position is not applicable, it is the responsibility of the Safety and Emergency Management Coordinator. This may be initiated via state/territory centre as per lifesaving standard operating procedures.
