5.6. Party

Clusters are grouped functions with the same characteristics and use. The cluster party contains all data with respect to a natural person or an organization. An overview of the clusters can be found in the Overview of the API-framework.

The clusters are concentrated around AFD structures. The cluster party is linked to the partyStructure. Thus, a cluster already indicates to a certain extent which data will be communicated. To indicate which data is communicated and to what purpose, an operation and a variant must be selected.

Every type of party is an entity type, for example employee or insured person. An overview of all entity types associated with parties is available in AFD 2.0 online.
