General properties
The afsStructure
is different from the other structures in that the afsStructure
actually does not define any structure at all. The afsStructure
only adheres to the set-up of entities and attributes, and can be seen as a ‘master schema’ of the entire SIVI AFS data catalog. In other words you can create – to a certain extent – any SIVI AFS message with the afsStructure
. This is useful, for example, if you use SIVI AFS for internal storage / databases.
Mandatory components
The afsStructure
has no mandatory components or attributes. At the highest level, all entities of the SIVI AFS can be selected (see the AFD 2.0 online for the latest update on entities and attributes). Within each entity, all attributes are available that fall under the relevant combination of entity and entityType in the data catalog. Entities can also be nested under other entities. A selection has been made here for the sake of size and scope: for example, the address
entity can be nested under a party
entity, but not vice versa. If you miss the possibility to nest a certain entity somewhere, you can submit an extension request.
More documentation on the use of SIVI AFS is available in chapter Where to find elements of SIVI AFS. A general description of AFD structures is provided in Introduction to AFD structures, while information on details of AFD structures is available in chapter Where to find details about AFD structures.
AOS
The afsStructure
can be found and used within SIVI AFS Online Samenstellen (AOS) at https://portal.sivi.org/.
