Warehouse locations can be used if the warehouse is spread out over multiple locations. Thus it’s possible to view the total stock level for a given material or view the level in a certain warehouse.
The window to create a new warehouse is opened by the menu Edit->Materials selecting the tab Warehouses.
A warehouse can be specified on all the different kinds of transactions. I.e.:
The material graph shown below shows the inventory for warehouse “North” and “South”, which contains paint. The bottom graph shows the total inventory of paint. Right click on a graph to select a warehouse (read more about the different material graph options).
