The requirement to incorporate at least one Living Product Challenge certified product applies to all projects except for single family residential.
LIVING PRODUCT CHALLENGE CERTIFICATION
The Living Product Challenge (LPC) is a comprehensive third-party verified program that takes a multi-attribute approach to sustainability. The LPC Standard is based upon the principles of full transparency and incorporates both life cycle assessment and material health evaluation as fundamental processes in the creation of products that are net positive across their life cycle.
COMPLIANT PRODUCTS
Products with any level of LPC Certification (i.e., Imperative, Petal, or Living) active during the specification, purchase, and/or installation of the material in the project can be counted toward compliance with this Imperative.
