Boundary corresponds to the perimeter of a field area. The system IsoView allows the user to draw a virtual line around the field, demarcating the useful area within which the application must be carried out.
Limit function is recommended in conjunction with licenses that have section control – ISO 31, ISO 32, ISO 34, ISO 35 -, since the functionality causes the sections to be automatically closed when outside the area demarcated by the boundary line.
in the menu of Settings while Navigating, when the limit is not yet marked, the parameter Limit Type, containing several options for creating the boundary line of the field area.
With the exception of the type limit Project, the boundary demarcation must be carried out by the user, running the machine directly over the perimeter of the field. The main difference between these boundary types is in the position at which the line is drawn relative to the center of the implement boom..
- half bar – The boundary line is drawn exactly in the path taken by the center of the implement boom.
- External – Full Bar – The boundary line is demarcated at the outermost point of the implement bar, according to the direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) carried out on the field perimeter.
- Internal – Full bar – The boundary line is demarcated at the innermost point of the implement bar, according to the direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) performed on the field perimeter.
- External – Customized – The boundary line is drawn at a distance determined by the parameter Limit Displacement, which will be present in the navigation settings menu if the type of limit is External – Customized, measured from the center point of the implement bar towards its outer end, according to the direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) carried out in the field perimeter.
- Internal – Customized – The boundary line is drawn at a distance determined by the parameter Limit Displacement, which will be present in the navigation settings menu if the type of limit is Internal – Customized, measured from the center point of the implement bar towards its inner end, according to the direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) carried out on the plot perimeter.
Start boundary demarcation
In the navigation screen, for the limit types half bar, External – Full Bar, Internal – Full bar, External – Customized e Internal – Customized, the start limit button will be present . When pressing the button, a black dashed line is drawn on the navigation screen over the path taken by the machine. It will also show the Alert Board with the text Limit start: OK and the type of limit just below. The following figure illustrates the demarcation of the beginning of the limit, for the example of Half Bar.
After demarcating the starting point of the boundary, the side button bar on the right side of the navigation screen will show two other buttons. Limit pause button and, if the machine has moved more than 20 meters from the starting point, the end limit button
.
Pause Boundary Boundary
If during the demarcation of the boundary an obstacle is encountered on the way, such as trees, holes, stones, etc., the user can use the pause function to go around the obstacle.
By pressing the limit pause button , a red dot will be displayed on the map, identified by the letter L, it’s the Alert Board with the message Limit break: OK. The end limit button will be unavailable, and the pause limit button will be replaced by the resume limit button
. The figure below shows the navigation screen during threshold pause.
To resume the boundary, simply press the Resume Boundary button . the break point L
will no longer be displayed in the navigation, and it will be connected with a straight line
to the current point of GNSS from the center of the implement boom. THE Alert Board will show the message Limit reset: OK. The following image shows the navigation screen while resuming boundary demarcation.
The maneuver around obstacles can be done using or not using the limit pause function. The differences are illustrated in the images below..
Finalize the boundary demarcation
The finalization of the boundary demarcation can be carried out in two ways. The first is done automatically, when returning to a distance less than 15 meters from the starting point of the boundary
, as shown in the following figure. The second way is performed manually by pressing the end limit button
.
When the limit is finalized, while the system is processing the calculation of the limit, the Alert Board with the message Caculando limite… Aguarde!. Then, after the calculation, the alert board is updated with the message Limit end: OK. The boundary line is then updated on the navigation screen according to the Limit Type selected, going from dashed to solid, in black. THE Information Board is also updated, showing the area data referring to the boundary, according to the table below.
Information | Description |
---|---|
Total area | Area of the polygon generated by the boundary line |
Applied Area | Area already applied inside boundary polygon |
Remaining Area | difference between Total area and the Applied Area |
invalid limit
The demarcation of a boundary is invalidated every time you cross the line of an unfinished boundary, as shown in the image below. The system IsoView identifies the crossing of the line, and cancels the demarcation operation, showing the message on the alerts board invalid limit.
Use Limit menu
When a boundary is duly demarcated on the navigation screen, within the settings during navigation, the item Use Limit, as shown in the figure below. Through this menu it is possible to disable the limit by the option Not, enable by option Yes, e Restart the boundary for demarcating a new polygon.
Project type limit
When the parameter of Limit Type is configured as Project, the boundary polygon follows the project file in the format Shapefile selected. The boundary project is created by specific computer software, in which the agronomist determines the perimeter of the plot where the work will be carried out..
At File List of boundary projects, you must select the file SHP with the desired name and press the view button . The boundary design map will be loaded into memory and displayed for user confirmation through the Input Map screen, as shown in the example below..
If the user understands that the map shown is not the intended one, he must press the back button to return to the previous screen and select another project. If the limit project is chosen, when pressing the confirm button
the map containing the boundary polygon will be loaded on the navigation screen, as shown in the figure below.
