7.1.8. HDOP

HDOP is a commonly used parameter to analyze the signal quality of a GNSS. Its value reflects how spread out the constellation of satellites visible by the system is at the moment in the celestial vault. The more spread out, the better the accuracy condition of the system, and the lower the value of the HDOP.
Values ​​of HDOP considered optimal are below 1.0.
