The Light Bar is used to guide the agricultural machine Navigation on the guidelines and shows the deviation of the vehicle in relation to the guide line that is being followed.
The objective is to have the operator observe the lightbar and turn the machine’s steering wheel in the direction indicated by the leds, and rotate in the intensity of the number of leds that are lit in this direction, that is, the more LEDs more accesses it will be necessary to turn the steering wheel.
For this, the system monitor IsoView has a set of 22 leds of high brightness, 4 central ones in green, 6 yellow, 6 orange, and 6 red, which form the light bar.
The image below shows how the leds of lightbar in the monitor cabinet IsoView.
In this other image below, a Example of Navigation on a Straight Guidance Line. The deviation from the guideline is 80 cm to the right. In this way, the lightbar guides the operator to turn the steering wheel a little to the left, to smoothly correct the deviation. the symbol of “<” represents the same direction indicated by the lightbar just to the left of the offset value.
Another example shown in the image below illustrates the lightbar indicating a large deviation from the guideline. It is possible to see that all leds on the right of the lightbar are lit, indicating that the operator should turn the steering wheel all the way in that direction.
When the Autopilot Navigation Operating License is active, the lightbar is also used to indicate the status of the autopilot when it is engaged. In addition to the information in the triangle indicating the agricultural machine in green, the leds of the lightbar assume the configuration shown in the image below.
