11. Firmware Update

The update procedure firmware of the system IsoView should be performed whenever a new update is made available on the official website of Agres, or sent via email by our Technical Support team. It is very important to keep the equipment with the latest current version, to correct any problems and take advantage of new features..

*For the update, a portable memory device must be used. (pen drive) Maximum 8 GB of storage.

To perform the update firmware, the steps described below must be followed..

1) Machete download of file with extension .BIN of the latest current version sent via email or directly from the official website of Agres. Check with the technical staff of the Agres that the file corresponds to the latest current version.

2) Perform storage device format using a computer.

*Heads up: This procedure will erase all existing files inside the portable memory. Save all important files before formatting.

Connect the portable memory to be formatted to one of the ports usb from the computer. Open Windows Explorer, right-click on the portable memory unit, and select the option Format.

3) In the formatting window, in the option file system select the option Pattern to the device (fat (Pattern), or FAT32 (Default)).

4) in the option Size of the allocation unit select Default allocation size. Click on the button Start for the device to be formatted, and wait until the end of the procedure.

5) After formatting, copy only the update file .BIN into portable memory. The same must be copied in the root folder of the device (no folder must be created inside the portable memory).

Once the file is correctly saved in the root folder, remove the portable memory from the computer.

6) System update

*In the current version of the system, the update is presented only in Portuguese.

with the monitor IsoView off, insert the portable memory with the update file into the connector usb of the equipment (direct side), and turn on the monitor. The system will identify the file in the portable memory and perform the update automatically..

!Heads up: Do not disconnect the equipment from the power source during the update. firmware. Shutting down may corrupt the monitor’s internal memory, requiring the equipment to be sent to technical assistance..

*if the system IsoView have terrain compensator, perform the update keeping the accessory connected, so that your firmware be properly updated.

Wait until the update process is finished. the monitor IsoView will check the version of all components of firmware on the system, updating those with versions older than those present in the updates file .BIN.

*During the update, the monitor may automatically turn off. In this case, turn the monitor back on without disconnecting portable memory.

After the update of all system components is finished IsoView, the message to remove the portable memory will appear on the screen.

At this time, disconnect the portable memory from the connector usb, causing the monitor to automatically turn off. Then, turn on the monitor again.

7) Checking if the version has been updated

To verify that the version was correctly installed on the system, access the menu Information > Equipment, and check the information Application Version. The displayed version must be the same as the update file .BIN that was installed.
