The Grid screen is an important component of the Navigation map, as it has the function of giving the perspective of movement and depth. The size of the square represented by the Grid varies for each selected Zoom level, as well as the grid lines shift according to the Machine Speed and Direction.
Below are shown some Grid screen examples with different Perspectives and Zoom levels.
Grid in 3D perspective
This grid of the map area of the Navigation screen has its lines shown in the Perspective 3D view. Here the 2D Perspective button , highlighted in the figure below, can be used to switch between the two Perspectives.
Grid in 2D perspective
This grid of the map area of the Navigation screen has its lines shown in the Perspective 2D view. Here the 3D Perspective button , highlighted in the figure below, can be used to switch between the two Perspectives.
zoom levels
In this image we present the sequence of Zoom levels of the Navigation area. When pressing the button , the Zoom level changes cyclically within the sequence. The representation of the Harrow and also of the machine with its implement, have their sizes modified, causing the notion of depth to change.
