6.3.5. Text Editing

• Configurable Screen Types

The Type – Text Editing configuration screen is used to enter the value of a textual parameter. The screen is basically composed of typing keyboards, graphics items, touch sensitive buttons, title, and the area for viewing the typed text.

Us Examples below for Text Editing of the Culture parameter, The four keyboard models available for entering information are presented and described..

*The maximum text length of a parameter value is 40 characters.

1. capital letters keyboard

Item	Description
	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to cancel editing, returning to the previous menu.
	Standard uppercase keyboard QUERY, with spacebar.
	key of backspace, used to erase the last character typed.
	key of Shift in active state, to switch to lowercase keyboard.
	Key to switch to special character keyboard.
	Key to switch to numeric digit keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm touch button to save the new parameter textual value.

2. lower case keyboard

Item	Description
	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to cancel editing, returning to the previous menu.
	Querty standard lowercase keyboard with spacebar.
	key of backspace, used to erase the last character typed.
	key of Shift in normal state, to switch to uppercase keyboard.
	Key to switch to special character keyboard.
	Key to switch to numeric digit keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm button, to save the new parameter textual value.

3. numeric digit keyboard

Item	Description
	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to cancel editing, returning to the previous menu.
	Numeric digit keyboard with space bar.
	key of backspace, used to erase the last character typed.
	Key to switch to special character keyboard.
	Key to switch to uppercase keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm button, to save the new parameter textual value.

4. special character keyboard

	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to cancel editing, returning to the previous menu.
	Special character keyboard with space bar.
	key of backspace, used to erase the last character typed.
	Key to switch to uppercase keyboard.
	Key to switch to numeric digit keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm button, to save the new parameter textual value.

*In this example, after pressing the Confirm button of any keyboard pattern, you will be presented with the screen Saving Parameter. On this screen, the new textual value of the parameter will be saved in the memory of the IsoView. Next, the next screen displayed will be the source screen for text editing.
