- Students are required to provide their own transportation to and from practicum placements and activities while at their practicum.
- Students are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is in good working condition, qualified to operate the vehicle and have proper insurance.
- Students are not allowed to transport clients, staff or any other individuals in their vehicles during practicum activities. If your agency asks for students to transport any individuals, contact your practicum coordinator and instructor to notify them.
- If students do not wish to use their own vehicles for transportation, students must talk to their practicum instructor prior to start of their practicum to find alternative arrangements. (IPT, 2021)
