MRU Wellness Services
Wellness services provide a number of services for Mount Royal students. The services include the following: mental health services, medical services, MRU Injury and Prevention Clinic, Workshops, Groups and Volunteer opportunities, Healthy Campus, and Resources.
Mental Health Services
Mental health services provide services such as student counselling, mental health nurses, and physicians and psychiatrist.
Student Counselling services provide personal counselling supports, career counselling supports, workshops and group supports.

Health Services Clinic
Health Services provides students and employees comprehensive services Mount Royal University such as:
Mental health and addictions support
Sexual health, education and STI testing
Birth control, PAPs and pregnancy testing
Male health
Immunizations
Musculoskeletal injuries
Colds, sore throat and flu treatments
Referrals to community specialists
Cholesterol and blood pressure screening
Skin conditions, warts and moles treatments
Stitches and dressing changes
Emergency appointments

Closed for lunch daily: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.

MRU Injury and Prevention Clinic
Their services include acupuncture, athletic therapy, chiropractic care, custom-built orthotics, massage therapy, physiotherapy, and sports medicine physicians.

Workshops, Groups and Volunteer
Webinars and workshops are offered through MRU and provide a number of informative topics for students.
The healthy campus provides:

MRU also provides workshops for:
- Dating, domestic & sexual violence
- Supporting survivors of sexual violence

Groups
- Groups provide counselling groups for students. They Currently have 6 groups which are Indigenous Women’s group, global wellness community, pride centre, A- team, student support webinars, and SMILE (student with mental illness in the learning environment).

- Breathing Room – This is an eight-module online resiliency program to improve mental health and transform lives. The modules can be done at your own pace and will provide coping skills and ways to increase resilience.
