Experiential Learning is an essential component of the curriculum for the Bachelor of Child Studies Degree. These opportunities (Practicum and Capstone courses) are designed to introduce students a wide array of practice, community programs, and skilled professionals. In order to facilitate these learning experiences, we require practicum sites to meet Bachelor of Child Studies practicum requirements as well as MRU practicum agreement specifications.
Because of the nature of CYCC work, fieldwork and practicum may require time outside of allocated hours (evenings and weekends).
