4.Proofread your emails – being professional in your communication is essential and is a great way to practice before working in your field.
5.Come up with solutions – be proactive and try to help by coming up with solutions for any challenges at your practicum placements. You may be able to
see a situation in another way that can help.
6.Be Punctual – Arriving on time and letting your supervisor know when you are arriving late is an essential part of professionalism.
7.Be polite – Being polite, receptive and respectful, you can make a good first impression that will last.
8.Take initiative – Proving yourself worthy of the position from your first day forward can be a way to establish yourself in your practicum placements.
