How to improve Social Wellness

The University of New Hampshire (n. d.), put together a list of ways to improve your
social wellness:
1. Develop assertiveness skills not passive or aggressive ones.
2. Balancing social and personal time.
3. Be who you are in all situations.
4. Engaged with other people in your community.
5. Value diversity and treat others with respect.
6. Maintain and develop friendships and social networks.
7. Create boundaries within relationships that encourage communication, trust and conflict management.
8. Remembering to have fun.
9.Have a supportive network of family and friends.

Spiritual Wellness

Spirituality can look a number of different ways to different people. Spirituality is about connecting to what you find is meaningful and enriches your soul
(Government of Alberta, n. d.). Spiritual wellness can aid individuals through comfort and brings strength in hardship (Government of Alberta, n. d.).

Everyone has their own spiritual journey, below we provided a few questions to ask yourself to bring awareness to your spiritual journey:
What am I thankful for?
What gives my life meaning?
When do I feel my happiest?
What is my source of strength?
How can I ensure my spiritual wellness?
