The requirements for coaches and advisors are:
- Valid, unexpired Substitute Certificate. If the applicant does not yet have one, then he/she must qualify and obtain one. The current requirement to obtain a substitute certificate is 30 college credits from an accredited college/university and a criminal history approval issued within 5 months of applying for the substitute certificate.
- I9 form (you will need to see the applicants original driver’s license and social security card)
- Completion of the All Personnel and Non-Personnel forms
- A negative Mantoux test result less than 1 year old (or a copy of the result from the last time it was done if they have been continuously employed in a NJ public school since the last time it was complete).
- PL 2018, c.5 forms completed for any employment where the person worked with children under the age of 18 within the last 20 years.
