To calculate the amount of days to stop a pay for those who are out on a leave of absence, use the following:

  • In Linq ERP, keep in mind the # of days the person going on leave is to work (Example: Teachers and Staff Assistants work 200 days, Secretaries, Custodians/ Maintenance/Grounds, 240 days, Trainers, 206 days, CST staff and ESL staff 205 days, Bus Drivers/Transportation Aides 185 days, etc.)
  • Stop the staff member’s pay on the first full pay period.
  • If they are starting their leave mid pay period, then count the number of days not working and dock this # from the previous pay period.

For when the staff member returns from leave:

  • Start the pay on the pay period that they are returning.
  • If the staff member is returning on a day other than the first day of that pay period, then dock the number of days he/she will not be working.
