There are currently two limitations on importing files from Excel.
- Mandatory Field Validation
When files are imported from Excel, they are not validated for meeting the mandatory conditions—that is, for filling the mandatory fields. Users are not prevented from importing files with empty or incomplete rows.
- Default Language
As English is set as the default language in the system, users must use it in the Excel file. Users cannot import a file that contains only values in languages other than English. (If these languages are included in conjunction with the English set of values, however, users will not face an issue importing the file.)
