In the Add Action Item to Quality Event form, we have added to the task type options. Previously, through the radio button, users could only set the task as either a corrective or preventive action. Now, users are provided a dropdown with the following options:
*A correction is an action that is taken to rectify or eliminate a detected issue. A corrective action is one that is taken to prevent the reoccurrence of an issue. An effective check is a measure of whether or not a corrective action has eliminated a detected issue. A preventive action is one that is taken to prevent a potential issue that has not yet occurred.
