For general reference, disabled fields—that is, fields that cannot be modified—typically have a dark background color.* Enabled fields have no background color. Mandatory fields have a light-yellow background color.

* In the DBP Designer, users can choose to set the background for disabled fields as transparent. In that case, disabled fields nonetheless remain distinguishable from enabled fields in that they cannot be manipulated by the user in any way.
