In this latest update, we have introduced a feature to streamline and enhance the audit planning phase within the Plan & Execute Audits workflow. This feature is designed for users who plan their audits well in advance, often up to a year ahead. It offers enhanced control and visibility, effectively addressing long-term planning needs.
Key Feature Components:
- New Date Fields
We have added three new date fields to the New Audit Plan module, which grant users control over execution and scheduling dates.
- Start of Execution Period: This is a date picker that allows users to input/select the date when the audit execution will begin.
- End of Execution Period: This is a date picker that allows users to input/select the date when the audit execution will conclude.
- Start of Audit Scheduling: This is a date picker that allows users to input/select the starting date for scheduling the audit, ensuring a timely and organized audit execution.
- Deferred Audit Scheduling
We have implemented deferred scheduling to better accommodate long-term planning. Previously, the Schedule Audit task was generated and assigned to the team leader immediately upon audit plan submission. Now, it is triggered and assigned only when the Start of Audit Scheduling date is reached. Until that date, the audit plan remains inactive.
- Audit Plans – Waiting for Schedule
To support audit plans awaiting scheduling, we have introduced a new module known as Audit Plans – Waiting for Schedule. In this module, users will find a Gantt chart displaying audits whose scheduling is still pending. Additionally, a grid listing these audit plans is provided, allowing users to modify the execution start period, execution end period, and audit scheduling start date as needed.
