In the Execute Audit phase of the Plan & Execute Audits workflow, we have streamlined the process of uploading and managing evidence for requirement validation.

Key Changes:

  1. Dedicated Field for Auditor Evidence

Previously, files provided by the evidence collector and those uploaded and requested by the auditor were displayed in the same field. In this release, to improve clarity and organization, we have introduced a dedicated field called Attach Evidence specifically for auditor-uploaded and requested evidence.

  1. URL Support

In addition to file uploads, auditors can now add URLs as evidence. Auditors can provide the URLs and a display name for each. These URLs are then displayed in a separate grid and can be removed as needed.

  1. Simplified Evidence Request

We have also simplified the process for requesting evidence. Previously, auditors were required to navigate through a nested form, which proved cumbersome and confusing. Now, with a simple click of the Request Specific Evidence button, auditors can reveal the evidence request section, where they can select the recipient and provide a message.

  • Send Request: This button allows users to send the evidence request to the selected user.
  • Cancel: This button allows users to cancel the evidence request and hide the section.
  1. Evidence Tracking

Lastly, we have expanded the functionality of an existing grid, formerly known as Document Requests, now renamed as Evidence Repository. Going beyond its initial purpose of tracking document requests, this grid now logs all auditor actions related to evidence, such as uploading, requesting, and receiving evidence, including URLs. This enhancement provides auditors with a comprehensive overview of the evidence handling process.
