The Exposable Controller is used to send position, scale, rotation, FOV, and lens data to notch blocks running on the system. This can be used to control exposable cameras, or even model objects inside the notch block. This controller works a little different from other controllers as it does not need a child/ parent structure in order to work.

Exposable Controller

  • Exposable Mode: Defines how the controller will select what object to send data from. Can be Object or Patched to Output.
  • Selected Object/Output: Selects either the Object or Output desired.

When using the Exposable Mode- “Patched to Output” the projector or MR camera which is patched to the output will be the object which sends data to the Notch Block. Because this can be changed at any point in Hippotizer, the data can also change if the Shape Source pin is changed.

Automation

  • Hippotizer Index: Each controller needs a unique index to be controlled from Hippotizer, this setting will correspond to a Controller# in Hippotizer.
  • Axis Name: Insert the Exposed Name of the Notch camera or object to send data to.
