Starting in Appraisal File — Tables — Appraisal Table — Appraisal Zone

Using the in the tool bar, user may scroll left and right to view the four Appraisal Zones.

The four Appraisal Zones (also called Reval Zones, Reval Years and/or VI Areas) are set up so an inspection can be done to each parcel in that zone, in that designated Visual Inspection Year. After four years, the whole county should be updated and the county would start again in Appraisal Zone one. At the end of the fourth year, the user needs to update the future Visual Inspection Year in each zone. Example (using the dates below): At the end of 2022 user would change the inspection dates to Zone One: 2023, Zone Two: 2024, Zone Three: 2025, Zone Four: 2026

Base Year is read only and is updated automatically when county updates working year.

CLICK to edit each Appraisal Zone.

If Appraisal Manuals have changed, user may CLICK on the Appraisal Manuals Tab to view/edit Appraisal Manuals.

The manual information is read only. This is changed when changing the manuals in the county information form and descriptions in the appraisal manual form.

Local Trend: Local trend adjustment percentages may be entered here that will affect the entire appraisal zone. This number will appear in the Appraisal File Cost Approach Tab, Cost Manual Info, Local Mltp.
