16.2 Build a Business Process

These exercises will walk you through the steps needed to create a functional process map on the EPC Web App. You can directly map a process using BPMN shapes on the Web App, and you can also import a process created on Visio. Mapping processes will provide you with the flexibility needed to create process charts that accurately reflect the flow of work within your organization.

Before a process can be modeled in EPC, you must understand the main tasks, decision points and information flows in your process. Once established, the tasks, decision points and information flows will be represented by BPMN shapes.
