Update Your Software

At AutoFluent we are always coming up with better ways for you to run your business effectively. We deliver these new features to you via our updates, these updates are part of your support costs so you never have to worry about extra fees for newer versions of your software.

How do I know if there is a new update available?

You will know that an update is available for your system when a yellow banner appears on your AutoFluent stations that says “Internet Update Available.”

How do I update?

Updating can be done in a few easy steps. If you see that the yellow internet update banner on your Main Menu, follow these steps in order.

Updating Stations (Repeat these steps for all stations)

1. Before updating the first computer, make sure that everyone is logged out of AutoFluent for just a few minutes. Data loss or corruption can occur if users are still in the system while the update is taking place. This only applies when the server is being updated.
2. You will update your AutoFluent Server computer first. If you are not sure which computer is the server, on the Main Menu you will see the word SERVER in blue at the bottom of the screen.
3. From the Main Menu, select the Update AutoFluent button located in the lower right hand corner.
4. Select the Download Update button.
5. Another window will appear detailing the changes that have been made. Press the Update button to begin.
6. The system will now download the update files. If AutoFluent is still opened in the background, you will be asked to close it. This process can take a few minutes – do not turn off the computer!
7. A window will appear that says Update Successful. Click Finish to exit.
