Backup Up Your Data

Navigation: From the Main Menu, log in and press the Backup button.

Keeping your data safe is vital. With your AutoFluent support, you are entitled to backup your data to the web where it will be easy for our support technicians to restore it in the instance of a catastrophe. You can also backup your data onto a local or external device. It is recommended that you back up your data at the end of the day every day. The more often you backup the less information you will have to manually enter again if data is lost.

Backing up

• Log into AutoFluent on the Main Menu you will see a Last Backed Up date.
• Press the Backup Data button
• A window will appear stating the date and time of the last backup.
• The Backup locations window will appear. In this window you can add locations on your computer, if you are using a flash drive plug it in now.
• To back up using the same settings as the previous backup, simply click the Back Up button.
• Press the Add Destination button to browse your folders and add a destination you would like to back up to. If desired, you can create a new folder. After selecting a folder, press OK.
• To backup data to the web check the Backup to Web box. These settings only need to be set once and will be saved for future backups.
• Press the Back Up button. The process can take a couple of minutes, so do not close the window.
• You may close the window when Backup Complete is displayed.
