Navigation: From the Main Menu select the Inventory Entry button and select the Transfers button. This window is also accessible from the Stores tab of the Inventory Search window.

Using the Inventory Transfers feature of AutoFluent you will be able to request, receive and keep track of inventory items that are being sent between your different locations.

Request Transfer

If you are in need of an item at another location, follow these steps:

  • Select the item from your inventory and press the Transfers button.
  • Navigate to the Request Transfer tab.
  • In the Quantity to Request box, enter the quantity to request.
  • Select which store you are requesting the item from.
  • Optionally, you can do the following:
    • Select your name in the Sales Rep drop-down box.
    • Enter a reference number and notes if desired.
    • You can select a different day for the request other than the current day by using the drop-down.
  • When everything looks correct, press the Create Request button.
  • You may print the transfer request by pressing the Print Transfer Request button

Fill Transfer Requests

If you have received a transfer request from another store and wish to fill that order, follow these steps:

  • From Inventory Entry, press the Transfers button
  • Navigate to the Fill Transfer Requests tab
  • Within the tab you will see a list of all items that have been requested, along with such information as the Store the request was made from, the Catalog # of the parts, and other information.
  • If you will be filling all you requests, simply press Send All Requested, and press the blue button to Print Packing Slip & Mark As Sent.
  • Otherwise, select each item that you will be sending, and for each item:
    • Verify or adjust the Quantity to Send in the bottom left corner.
    • Click Prepare to Send.
  • If you make a mistake, simply enter a different quantity and click Prepare to Send again. Or click Set All to Zero to start over. Nothing is sent until you press the blue button.
  • Only press Void Request if you never intend to fill the request on the selected line.

Receive Requested Items

After you have received your inventory from another location, follow these steps to complete the transfer:

  • From Inventory Entry, press the Transfers button
  • Navigate to the Receive Requested Items tab.
  • To receive all the items marked as sent, press Receive All Sent and press Process All Changes.
  • Otherwise, select each item that was received, and for each item:
    • Verify or adjust the Quantity to Receive in the bottom left corner.
    • Click Update Item.
  • If you make a mistake, simply enter a different quantity and click Update Item again. Or click Set All to Zero to start over. Nothing is actually received until you press the blue button.
