Make a User Inactive AND Reinitialize any future shifts

If a User should be made Inactive in the system but they have already committed to future shifts, you will need to reinitialize those shifts.
This is a feature that is set behind the scenes at ShiftMatch so if you would like this feature and don’t see it, ask your ShiftMatch contact.

  • Go to People > User Search and choose the link to the User that you would like to reset.
  • Under the Login Details tab, you will see a red button entitled “Inactivate & Reinitialise”
  • Click on “Inactivate & Reinitialise”.

Click Inactivate and all the shifts will be Reinitialized and the User will be deactivated.
