Financial dimensions

As part of the enhancement, financial dimension fields are moved from the Summary tab to the new tab ‘FD’ on the project master form. Along with the financial dimension fields (Business unit, Cost center, Department), a new field is added ‘Default task FD from’ which is a dropdown field. This field consists of 2 Enum values Project and Resource
• Project – Project financial dimensions will be defaulted to the task when task created successfully.

• Resource – Resource financial dimensions will be defaulted to task when a resource is assigned successfully to task.

Financial dimension fields are non-editable, and users can update dimensions manually by setting the Override financial dimensions parameter to Yes. When the parameter is changed to No, dimensions will be defaulted based on the ‘Default task FD from’ parameter.
