Overview

The Financial Dimensions (FD) integration methodology between FSCM and Proj Ops has been significantly revamped as part of this enhancement. The FD field integrations are now dynamic, adapting based on the configurations set in FSCM rather than being fixed.
Additionally, the user interface has been updated across various forms in Proj Ops, including Projects, Customers, Workers, Bookable Resources, and Project Tasks. The previous FD tab has been replaced with a new read-only field that displays a comprehensive list of the FDs enabled in FSCM, providing you with a complete overview and control over the financial dimensions.
Standard FD setup in FSCM:

General ledger > Chart of accounts > Dimensions > Financial dimension configuration for integrating applications

As shown in the image above, the selected financial dimensions will be prominently displayed on the forms within Proj Ops. Any modifications made to this setup will be reflected in Proj Ops immediately upon successfully saving the changes.

Sales > Customers > Edit > Financial dimensions (tab)

Workers

Resources > Workers > Edit > Financial dimensions

From the following forms, the old financial dimensions fields have been removed:

• Actuals list page (Active Actuals with FD view has been removed)
• Actuals details page
• Journal lines details
• ‘FD default from’ field on Project details
