Set the Estimated Start Date of Project Based on Employee Working Day

This new enhancement is done on standard Microsoft Copy project functionality.

When users click on ‘Copy project’, the system checks for the current date. If the current date is a non-working day, then the system checks for a previous working date for the user and defaults the same on a newly created project.

To access this feature, navigate to:

Projects > Project (Details Page) > Copy Project

In the above example, the estimated start date defaults to 2/21/2024, which is the previous working day for the user who clicked the Copy Project.

Note: Calendar/work hours should be in sync between Project Operations and Finance & Operations.
