Restriction on Bookable Resource Creation in Project Operations
As part of the enhancement, the creation of bookable resources in Project Operations is restricted when HR integration is enabled. This restriction is in place to ensure the smooth functioning of the system. When HR integration is active, users will be unable to create bookable resources categorized as resource type “Users” within Project Operations.
Users attempting to create bookable resources as* “Users”* in Proj Ops will receive a notification indicating that this action is restricted.
Restriction on Creating New Workers with Invalid Personnel Numbers
As part of the enhancement, there is a restriction on creating new workers in the FSCM to ensure data integrity regarding personnel numbers.
It’s important to note that users will play a crucial role in this process, as they will be unable to create new employees or contractors if the personnel number exceeds 10 characters.
Upon clicking the “New” button in the Employee or Contractor, an error message will be triggered for personnel numbers that are too long.
Warning Messages for Workers
As part of the enhancement, warning messages have been introduced for employees, contractors, and worker list forms to improve data quality and raise user awareness. This improvement is designed to guide users in ensuring accuracy and compliance during data entry.
The system will display warning messages for the first three identified records based on the following criteria:
- Missing Primary Email ID: For employees missing a primary email address.
- Missing Primary Email or Vendor ID: For contractors with either a missing primary email or vendor ID.
- Duplicate Emails: For instances of duplicate email addresses in either employee or contractor records.
Review the records highlighted by the warning messages and take appropriate action to correct any missing or duplicate information.
