Project Responsibilities with Effective Date (Evergreen)

The ‘Project responsibilities with effective date’ feature is controlled by feature management. Once this feature is enabled, the project manager of the project from Project Operations will be synchronized with FSCM upon creation and modification.

A new field ‘Primary email’ is added in the projects form in FSCM which can be viewed by personalizing the projects form. This field stores the primary email address of the project manager.

Path: Project management and accounting > Projects > All projects

Upon successful project creation in Project Operations, the Project manager’s name will be integrated into FSCM, generating a history record with the effective date.

Modifications to the Project manager in ProjOps trigger corresponding updates in the Project Manager history form with effective date and expiration for the previous Project Manager.

While creating a project in Project Operations, if the project manager resource is not available/created in FSCM, then only the primary email address will be updated, and project manager will be blank in FSCM. It can be updated manually from the ‘Change project manager’ option with the effective date.

If the selected project manager’s email address does not match with primary email address, then a validation message will be displayed.
