USERS/GROUPS MAINTENANCE

Creating a USER will define how this user will access the Windows server application.

Creating a GROUP will define how multiple users will access the Windows server application.

During the setup procedures, you will also define the Systems and Option Codes the user and group will be authorized to.

To accomplish this, the following steps must be performed:

1. Create a User

2. Create a Group (optional)

3. Setup security (Systems, Index Level Security, Options, Group Tabs)
   If you are using Groups, you will also have to select the Users that belong to the group.

!If a user belongs to a group AND security has been set at both the User and Group levels, the User level will take precedence.
