In Daylite Sales Assistant an opportunity can have many quote documents. This provides advanced quoting capabilities when it is necessary to have multiple live version of a quote such as in different currencies or for different options. In these cases the customer will select one of the quotes to go ahead a purchase. In this case Daylite Sales Assistant provides the ability to mark the quote as won.
Marking a Quote as won
When marked as won the following actions occur:
- The opportunity is marked as Won as well
- The total value of the won quote is set as the opportunity value
- A new project is created with all objects copied to it. (this removed the need to manually create a project from the opportunity)
- The user is automatically taken to the new project on the Daylite Sales Assistant tab view.
At this time the user can complete the project view, add a job number for example or set new rolls or attach a pipeline.
The status of the quote will change from Active to Won in the document list.
