Managing Non English formatted spreadsheets

This page shows how to convert / manage and ensure that your spreadsheet is formatted correctly. If you are using a EU formatting other than English we highly recommend that your read this page and follow the steps to minimise any risk of importing corrupt data into your Daylite database.

Using Mac Regions

Macs get there location settings from the Language and Regions setting in System Preferences. You can have more than one region set and restart into a different region for specific work. If your default region is France, we recommend setting up an English region for your DSA import work. This will ensure that you Numbers and or Excel sheets adhere to the correct currency formatting. Once you have completed the import simply switch back to your default region.

!Do not attempt to adjust the spreadsheet to remove the commas and this will not correct the formatting correctly.
