User Restrictions

Daylite Sales Assistant works with a combination of Daylite permissions and custom Daylite Sales Assistant permissions that control access to Daylite Sales Assistant only data. The following data in Daylite Sales Assistant is controlled by Daylite Sales Assistant settings.

*The User Restriction preferences are ONLY accessible to Daylite Admin users.

• Hiding buy price and COG and Markup from product reports
• Not showing Buy Price or COG when making quotes and invoices and supplier orders
• Not allowing products to be added, edited or deleted for users without permission
• Adding a price warning when products are added to a line item at a price lower than a pre defined minimum
• Only show the buys price details on Supplier Orders to authorised users
• Hiding cost columns on all documents so sales people can still operate but not see restricted data.

Deactivate Daylite Sales Assistant reports

Critical Daylite Sales Assistant reports are not shown to non authorised users.

Permissions are controlled in the Daylite Plugin Preferences.

If the user doesn’t have access to edit products then Daylite Sales Assistant will display a message informing the user they do not have permission to edit or add products.
