Exempt Tax

The system will automatically set up an exempt tax with a rate of 0%. If this tax is deleted the system will automatically add it.

Adding other taxes

Click the plus button to add a new tax. The select if it is a New tax or a new consolidated tax.

Consolidated taxes, as used in USA

Consolidated taxes can either be additive or compound.

Steps to add a consolidated tax:

1. Click the + button and select New Consolidated Tax
2. From the Tax dropdown select the first tax
3. Then add the second tax
4. Set if it is compound

Tax Registration

The Daylite Sales Assistant document templates display the tax registration number. For example, in Australia all invoices must show an ABN number. To display the ABN on the template add your ABN number to the Tax registration field and it will display on the invoice template. If the works ABN are desired, add then into the registration text field.
