If the tests all worked then prepare for the final import. If any changes had to be made to the test sheet then these need to be changed in the master sheet as well and then re-tested until there is no change required from the master sheet to test. Note sometimes this can take a few iterations to perfect. Do not rush it!
Ensure that Daylite is offline.
If the spreadsheet has more that 500 products we recommend that these are split into separate imports. 1- 500, 501 – 1000, 1001, 1500 etc. Again this minimised the risk of data corruptions.
Very large imports. Importing more that 5000 products will have an impact on product performance. Be prepared for reports to take some time when using more than 5000 products.
