Invoice numbering

Daylite Sales Assistant uses the PureMac numbering plugin to provide automated invoice numbering. This plugin provides a lot of features to make document numbering easy and powerful.

Using Document Numbering

The document number is presented in light grey, this is showing the next number that will be used on this document should it be generated into a PDF. Note numbers are not allocated until the PDF is generated. If a number is to be reserved, generate a draft PDF. This PDF can be cleared and the number will remain allocated to the document. How to use a different number or an existing number

Simply type over the number. Anything that is entered into the field will be used as that document’s number. This make re-quoting or re-invoicing super fast and simple.

!Offline Databases in Daylite can result in duplicate numbers being generated from time to time. To avoid this all users that are generating documents need to ensure they have sync’d prior to document generation. Even with this number unique needs careful attention.
