6.2.2.2. 6.2.2.2 Multi-Select Dropdown

This control allows the user to select multiple Items from a drop-down list.
It can reference systems table, like the users, the roles & Groups. It can also display a list created in another form.

Creating Multi-Select drop-down referencing a system entity
Steps:

1. Drag & Drop the control “Multi-Select Drop-down”
2. Change the ServerId to any caption followed by which entity it will display (User, Role or Group)
   
3. Save the form
4. Answer “Yes” to the following question : “Generate fields for added controls?”
   
   

*The caption before the system entity is mostly to keep track of which attribute it refers to in the db

Creating Multi-Select drop-down referencing a custom Entity
Steps:

1. Drag & Drop the control “Multi-Select Drop-down”
2. Change the ServerId to first the name of the Entity that it will pull the data form followed by the attribute it will display.
   
3. Save the form
4. Answer “Yes” to the following question : “Generate fields for added controls?”
   
5. Open Control Properties via Control Binding
   
6. At the dropd-own tab, a query needs to be added to call the right information:
   select id,Attribut from ray.BPMAPP_Entity that is pulling the data from
   Ex: select id,Name from ray.BPMAPP_DB_NewSystem
   

*By answering “Yes”, the system will then create the entity necessary for this control. One entity will be added with 2 foreign key. One key with reference the entity where this control will be use and the second key will reference the appropriate system table.
