The BPMS System is a Client – Server application.
The BPMS System consists of a Web Application that is deployed on IIS Server and has a connection to the Database. There are two clients that manage the content and interact with the application by the end user. The BPMS Designer, which is a windows application, is a thick client used to design, deploy and modify the web application. A Web Client runs in a browser and is used by the end client to interact with the server. The BPMS System can be integrated with corporate services like the SMTP server to send email messages, Active Directory for centralized user authentication management, and third party systems for data pulling and pushing.
