With ‘Row Square’, rows and columns are formed from copies of the selected objects.
The selected object (basis element) is in the bottom left corner. The row is created upwards and to the right.
The following prompts are displayed:
- Select objects: Select the object(s) to be copied for the rows
- Number of rows: Enter the number of rows.
- Number of columns: Enter the number of columns. If you define only one row, you must define more columns, and vice versa.
- Distance between rows: Enter the distance between rows. In order to add rows downwards, enter a negative value for the distance between rows.
- Distance between columns: Enter the distance between columns. In order to add columns to the left, enter a negative value for the distance between columns.
Raw Polar
With ‘Row polar’, a formation is created by copying the selected objects around a midpoint.
The following prompts are displayed:
- Select objects: Select the objects for which you want to create a formation, and then ‘confirm’ or ‘Enter’ the selection
- Centre of the polar row: Select the centre point of the rotation.
- Number of objects: Enter the number of objects that should be created.
- Fill angle: Specify the angle for the formation. E.g for a complete circle, enter ‘360’ degrees.
- Rotate objects: Specify whether the selected objects should be rotated around the centre at the same time.
